You may specify that you want your one time gift to be used for a specific purpose based on our needs or give an unrestricted gift. Unrestricted gifts are used to meet our monthly expenses.
monthly commitment.
Your monthly giving helps ensure that our work continues each and every day. We'll send you a monthly reminder if you choose this option.
memorial or HONORARIUM.
Is there someone in your life that you want to honor with a special gift or somone you want to remember who has passed away? Perhaps there is a special day coming – a birthday, Mother’s Day, a wedding, an anniversary or Christmas. Maybe someone has impacted your life in a significant way and you want to do something special to honor them. Give a gift to The Christmas Village in their memory or honor and we will send them a card with your message on it.
employer matching gift.
You can multiply the impact of your giving through your employer. Many companies are willing to match the financial gifts given by their employees to charitable organizations. Companies across the country are willing to partner with their employees in giving to non-profit organizations like The Christmas Village. The Christmas Village Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 corporation which many employers are willing to support. If your employer has a matching gift program, you can increase the impact of your gift to The Christmas Village by participating.
Here is what you need to do:
1. Check with your employer’s Human Resources Department to see if they participate in a matching gifts program.
2. Ask them for the forms that The Christmas Village needs to complete.
3. Make your donation online.
4. Mail the form from your employer to the address below.
5. The Christmas Village will complete the form and return it to your employer.
6. If you would like, please tell your co-workers about this opportunity to give to The Christmas Village.
planned giving.
Do you want to give a gift other than cash that will continue to give to the future of The Christmas Village? Planned giving includes gifts from wills, estates, insurance products, retirement accounts or trusts. Please contact Brenda or Michael Van Velkinburgh to discuss your planned giving.
