Facilities provide Love, Hope & Future for Life

The Christmas Village will provide for the housing needs of its guests by partnering with area churches, companies, and individuals to build cottages. Each cottage will have four (4) bedrooms accessible through a common area.  Each bedroom will have a bed, chest of drawers, nightstand, a reading chair and lamps.  Two bedrooms will share a bathroom.  Phase I calls for six (6) cottages.

The common area will have a sofa, two chairs with ottoman, small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and coffee table.  Each cottage will also have a washer/dryer.   All cottages will have a back porch with a view of the lake.  The walking path around the lake will connect to a path from the back porch remind us to visit our neighbors.

The second floor will have a one-bedroom apartment for a resident assistant.  The Resident Assistant may be a female retiree, college student (a co-op job for a degree in social services), or seminary student that we will provide housing and meals in return for their commitment to keeping peace in the house and ministering to the needs of the guest residents.  Not only will our guests be dealing with life issues in a crisis pregnancy, but may have issues stemming from family and social situations in their past.

The Activities Building, or Main House, will be the center of activities on campus.  It will have a commercial kitchen and dining facility for all residents, computer lab, meeting/living room, prayer room/chapel, visiting parlor, classrooms, library and a nursing station.

Phase Two will include six (6) more cottages, an administrative building and a chapel.
