New Website, New Brochure for 2009

Since The Christmas Village first became a vision in 2004, our website has mostly been informational about the ministry and events. Our goal for 2009 was to have a new mission statement, a new brochure and a new website that was geared more toward the women we are called to serve.

mission statement: Transforming lives ... two hearts at a time.

The new brochure has been printed. The first mailing will go out in the next few weeks. Metro Christian Living magazine will also be delivering them to offices in the Metro area.

Please visit our new and improved website www.TheChristmasVillage.org.

Red Envelope Day

Red Envelope Day is an event on Tuesday, March 31 where everyone who opposes abortion is being asked to send a Red envelope addressed to:

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500

On the back you should write:
"This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world."

An empty red envelope will send a message to President Barack Obama that there is moral outrage in this country over this issue The Freedom of Choice Act, which will essentially “undo” every law currently in place to limit abortion in the U.S. (i.e., parental consent laws, parental notification, waiting periods, prohibition of transporting a minor girl across state lines to obtain an abortion, etc). Please join with us in supporting this event.
