I’m alive because Mommy found The Christmas Village.

Dear Friends,

We want to share this picture of our newest Christmas Village baby, born Nov. 21, 2008. Her mom will be “graduating” from our program and leaving us mid-March. It is with great joy and sadness that we will be saying good-bye to her as a resident of The Christmas Village, but it is as it should be. She has a job that she loves, she and her baby are moving into their own apartment and she is planted in a church home with Christian mentors. We have witnessed first-hand the miracle that God has worked in her life as he spared this baby from abortion by bringing her to The Christmas Village.

We thank all of you for your prayers, your time and your financial support in 2008 and ask for your continued support in 2009. Listed below are our upcoming events and fundraisers. We hope that you will join with us in our mission: Transforming lives … two hearts at a time!

With love,

Brenda & Michael

P.S. Please forward this email to your email list to help us create awareness for our ministry. Thank you!

Dollar Day

The Bargain Boutique, a resale shop sponsored by the Junior League of Jackson, donates clothing every two weeks to The Christmas Village. We also receive private donations of gently used baby, maternity and women’s clothing, shoes, purses and accessories. Our storehouse is overflowing with items that we cannot use.

Beginning March 7, and the first Saturday of each month (except July), we will sell all clothing for $1 per item. Other items that will be available for sale include: queen mattress & box springs, dishwasher, microwave and more! Come early for the best selection.

Donations of gently used items accepted. No squeezed lemons, please!
